FCOM error

Alright, I've been working at getting FCOM to work for the past 7 hours or so. I've searched all over the webs, and all forums threads I've seen ended with the original poster finding a fix for themselves, but not explaining what they did. I started from a clean install with adding the official and unofficial patches. (not GOTY, just regular Oblivion).

 

Anyways, I followed the FCOM guide but I'm getting this error when I start the game: Unable to find Masterfile: Francesco's Leveled creautures items mod. Now, if I disable that esm (yes its there in my directory, and its checked off in the data files when I open Oblivion, and in Wrye Mash/OBMM) it just goes to another error for one of the FCOM Convergence needed mods.

*Also.. anyone know if there are downloads for a Oblivion data folder with FCOM fully working? That way I don't have to go through all this trouble

 

**Edit: I remembered I forgot to do the official patch install this time around (I've tried fresh installs multiple times) and now I did it, re-did the bash patch, and now I'm just crashing to the desktop as soon as I launch the game. I really want to play Oblivion with FCOM on since it might give me hours of play time since I'm extremely bored and out of games to play atm,

run that load order through BOSS

(easily found on tesnexus)

 

I know you didn't do that yet, because of:

Alright here is my boss log.. Nothing happens and I'm crashing on start up now. I'm gonna try a fresh install again (gonna uninstall then delete all oblivion related folders) Then will try to do this again. If you have any other advice, please share.

If you would explain a bit more please >_< I mean I guess when I install MMM I just need to extract needed files and the meshes/textures but then what about Francesco's, I only have the .exe version, I couldn't find a manually installing version of it.

BOSS was originally designed to help people arrange a working load order for FCOM

and guess what, its original name was FCOM helper

 

your best guideline is to follow its advise

 

and nothing is stopping you from deleting a file

 

or downloading a newer version.

 

Many people find FCOM too large a piece of steak to digest at one time

 

and they end up installing parts of the required sub-major-overhauls first

 

then deciding that FCOM may still be too much for them to chew

 

buy their best load ordering program remains BOSS

 

so follow its advise.

I did a complete re-install and will upload my new load order and boss log in a moment. But I still need help with how to make the bash patch correctly.
