The slow deterioration of my game

Ok i have a rather annoying problem with my oblivion game at the moment.

I play for roughly 30-40 minutes before noticing that sometimes the sky goes pitch black(even when the street is in daylight view) and that also when i try to lockpick a container or even access a book theres no detail there wahtsoever just a load of text on a sheer white background, this eventually leads to a CTD.

I have no idea what could be causing this, also when things start to go wrong the textures of the out side of building and sometimes even the walls and floors of the interiors also go black

and i know immediately that i am moments away from a CTD if anyone can help me sort this problem i will be very grateful.

PS, I have tried the Nvidia fog fix and it doesnt seem to have fixed the problem. Im using QTP3

'Sky goes pitch black blahblah' is likely symptom of 'ran out of system resource'. What is your system?

**Another thing is, having too many(about 400 or over) .esp/esm/bsa files together in \Data. Check if you installed too many mod. And Wrye Bash has 'esm/esp ghost' function to hide mods you're not using for current save file from the game.

One more thing thankyou for replying but could you possibly be less rude.

Whilst this may be a common occurence for a lot of people and you may have seen this problem many times before on the nexus, this is the first time i have found it myself so a little less derision would be appreciated.

Getting more RAM will help. I had similar problem, and later my graphic card was toasted. I bought new one, and a 2G RAM. Now I don't see the 'pitch black sky', but having problem with my soundcard(Good Ol' SB! Live doesn't like 4G main memory....).
