Having an issue - can't sleep bug?

So I've recently been having this issue and I believe it was buggy, then it seemed to fix itself, and now it's gone haywire again.
I have installed a few new mods lately and I don't know what one might have done it - but I'm pretty sure the timing of this didn't coincide with any particular mod I had installed - it just kind of happened over time. For all I know, it could be an old mod doing this.

 

Okay, the problem I'm having in detail is that I go to sleep, and that much is fine. Until I go to wake up.
It's like I'm in some kind of weird mode. My cross-hair is gone, I can't open dialogue or do anything really except for walking through walls. I can not walk higher or lower, I'm stuck on the one level.

The only way to fix this is by selecting the bed, then I see my character get out of bed and all is well.

Yeah, I might be able to live with this, except for one big thing : since I can't sleep properly, I can't wake up in the abandoned shack with Astrid to start the Dark Brotherhood quest line!! Someone, please help me all you can.



A few heads up in case anyone wants to ask :

I DO have all of the DLC
I DO have all of the USKPs

I DO have and use SKSE and SkyUI

I load FNIS and BOSS after EVERY mod I install or disable
I always check compatibility warnings

I don't have THAT many mods installed when you look at it (about 90, and that includes add-ons and patches to the same mods), and no I will not cull my list
If it is supported, I always install and uninstall through NMM

Don't use boss, use LOOT, boss is outdated. If that doesn't fix it:

 

Disable five plugins at a time, starting at the bottom work your way up until you find the mod that causes this. Shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to fix the problem. I usually start this process by disabling the bottom half of the mods first, if the problem is fixed then I know it's in the bottom half, if not, I know it's in the top half.

I'd have to disable certain mods through the MCM first though, wouldn't I? Gods, I just see myself breaking the game somehow....

when testing.....disable all you want.......Just don't SAVE...lol, Close the game then re-open from the same point each time...IF you find one mod to be the Culprit, then it is time to see if that mod requires any special removal process.

Arg, this isn't working.

 

I've set up and used both TESVedit and LOOT but I can't seem to test by disabling mods as by doing so it doesn't seem to even let me use my last save. This sucks.

Are you disabling the mods from the bottom to the top of the loadorder, not the other way around? Also you could test by opening a clean/ new save.

Yes, I am. I might try that next then. I'm pretty sure I have a save in Helgen or somewhere.

 

Also, the problem has changed slightly now. I wake up like I'm coming out of a haze and the character gets slowly out of the bed in first person view, but I can not move at all or do anything other than reload the game to fix it.

Sounds like you have a mod that lets you actually use the bed for some reason. You're not supposed to actually lie down..

Yeah, I did grab a few immersion mods recently.... but I figured it could be because the abandoned shack part of the Dark Brotherhood quest line gets you to lie down perhaps. But it doesn't explain why it was happening differently before now and perhaps before that quest line even.

 

Is there a programme that lets you see what mods are using a particular function, at all?
