Garzhad
Hey all, i'm just wondering, how would one go about breaking down the armor.nif for dark seducer/golden saint armor into individual pieces(cuirass, greaves, boots, gauntlets) as the means to do so completely escapes me. I've seen it done in one of slofs mods but the mesh is just not to my liking, but have no idea how to do so myself. I know i need to modify it in nifscope but beyond that im clueless; previous attempts just resulting in making a helmed horror from D&D lol. I just dont know what to cut out/add in to make it work. razorpony
You're likely going to need a program such as Blender 3d to break the meshes up and export them as individual pieces. -Razorpony
jack254
if you manage to do this, could you give the models to me please? (preferably exnem+ roberts)
LHammonds
Anyone wanting to do something like this, here is a Blender-specific tutorial.
Garzhad
Okay, i'll give it a shot when I have the time. Would like to split the armor into the four component pieces, then see if i can manage to change the color scheme to the one used by golden saint armor with bright red gems/skirt. I like the look of the Dark Seducer armor; light, good mobility, and it's schmexy. But the golden saint armor's color looks aLot better on the satin black Drow skin. Would also like the armor to use HGEC for the skin thats showing too. I just think it's all beyond my rather limited abilities/knowledge right now lol.
