ElDomingo
Hello,I have problem with mods in FO New Vegas. I have a lot of mods in the game and that cause frozen loading menu when I play for some time and decide to fx. quick travel or enter to some building. I don´t know if this is happening because of my computer or because something else, so I need help. I had this problem once before than I reinstal the game and remove mod which I declare to be the problematic because after adding it to game the problem started. But now I have the same problem again. Can someone help me? Is this because of some mod?
gromulos
First and formost, if you are using mods, are you also using a merged patch file? If not you need to get a mod organizer, ( I use FOMM ), LOOT, and also FO3Edit. FOMM will let you organize your mods and install "packages" called Fomods. LOOT will "try" to place all your mods in the correct order. FO3Edit will tell you if you have a primary file loaded after a secondary file, which in your case might be the problem. You will also use FO3Edit to make your merged patch file. If you are using any more than 3 mods I would definitely suggest using a merged patch file. A merged patch file organizes your leveled lists in game and also try's to solve conflicts if 2 or more mods alter the same thing in game.

ElDomingo
Well I must say I haven´t worked with FOMM before. Am I supposed to reinstall all manually installed mods with this manager?
gromulos
FOMM "should" recognize any mods you have installed, if it doesn't then yes, you will need to install the mods manually so it can. Also, remember that you have a 255 cap for mods, this includes all vanilla ESM's and ESP's and also includes any packages / Fomods you install Edited September 11, 2014 by gromulos
