CWDelicious
So this is my third attempt at installing FCOM. The first time, I had no idea what i was doing and i messed my game up. On the second attempt, there were tons of CTDs, green corpses, and many missing meshes. Here I am on my third try. Now, theFCOM First Time Installer's Guide tells me: Download MMM 3.7 BETA and extract the 'Meshes,' Sound,' and 'Textures' folders into your "Data" folder (overwrite, if necessary) together with Mart's Monster Mod.esm. When I download MMM 37b3 Public Release, there are no folders whatsoever. This is probably where the missing mesh problem came from. Halp?
CWDelicious
Hey, cmon. Someone. I haven't seen any similar posts anywhere else, so it must be a clarification issue. Can someone explain what I should do, or what I'm just not getting?

I just need to have this portion of the FCOM install explained to me.

CWDelicious
odd BSA = packed file of meshes and textures so it looks like it should have fixed your problem but since you tried it and it didn't work guess your problem is truly different. But the "First Time Users" guide says nothing about a BSA. Are you sure thats what I'm supposed to do?
subhuman
Now, theFCOM First Time Installer's Guide tells me: Download MMM 3.7 BETA and extract the 'Meshes,' Sound,' and 'Textures' folders into your "Data" folder (overwrite, if necessary) together with Mart's Monster Mod.esm. When I download MMM 37b3 Public Release, there are no folders whatsoever. This is probably where the missing mesh problem came from. Halp? This is the exact same problem in the installation of FCOM that led me to find this thread via Google. The FCOM First Time Installer's Guide says: - Download MMM 3.5.5 OMOD or FULL package extract the 'Meshes,' Sound,' and 'Textures' folders into your "Data" folder. Do NOT use any of the ESMs/ESPs from this version!- Download MMM 3.7 BETA and extract the 'Meshes,' Sound,' and 'Textures' folders into your "Data" folder (overwrite, if necessary) together with Mart's Monster Mod.esm- At this point, you should have only ONE plugin from MMM installed - Mart's Monster Mod.esm The download links actually instruct you to download MMM373BSA and MMM_37b3_Public_Release. MMM373BSA extracts to just a single file called MMM.bsa while MMM_37b3_Public_Release extracts either .ESP or .ESM files and no folders. So what are you meant to do at this step? A3oN95
I had similar problems on my first attempt with FCOM. After following the steps from here (only i installed MMM omod last, but is recognized FCOM and was installed as a part of it, with apparent success), i got it to work. See if it helps you (i found it a lot easier to follow then the official guide)
Trigoras
The website is a bit outdated, use the official forum topic on the Bethesda Forums for a more accurate guide. As of now with the UFCOM, it uses the 3.7b3 so you need to download the 3.7b3 .BSA and the .ESPs for it and install it in an FCOM fashion.
