Disk 2 Re-Install Error

Disk 2 does not want to re-install.

I tried re-installing both disk 1 and disk 2, but I keep getting the same message. I've also noticed that when I re-installed some of my mods were still in their designated folders. I'm currently running Windows Vista.

 

Please note: I am not a computer savvy person. So some PC terms may be unclear to me.

CRC errors usually come from a dirty disk

 

so - clean the disk

 

alternately install in "safe mode" http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm

My disk is clean as a whistle. Let me try booting up in safe mode and see if it works.

that's because

 

you either didn't remove them manually

 

or you've installed into the default location - VERY BAD IDEA with vista.

Problem solved. All I had to do was instal it in safe mode. Thanks Fonger. Appreciate it.
