barkera
Ugh! They're still going goggly! I created a new mod just using one eye texture from elaborate eyes and added 1 of soya hairs. The hair works fine, but the eyes are still screwy. I can't believe this... Any suggestions?
SavageArtistry
Googly eyes mean you have the wrong type of eye texture for the mesh you're using. Cernasite's eyes are for the vanilla eye mesh and go googly with Elaborate Eyes. You need to use compatible textures.
barkera
Ah, I'm with you now. Okay so I used the Dragon eyes with the default meshes and voila! All working now! Thanks for going to the trouble of helping me! :)
SavageArtistry
I'm currently using Elaborate eye texture with the vanilla Breton race (so, I'd assume the vanilla mesh too). Is that my problem? But if I do change the mesh to the Elaborate eyes one, will that bug up Breton NPCs? You can't simply swap out textures. An unmodded eye uses this texture layout. Elaborate Eyes uses something like this. Whether you can simply drop the appropriate eye mesh into a default file path and fix the problem depends on your cosmetic mod and where it tells the game to find the eye mesh. If you have a mesh to point it to, and can use the CS, then you can find the area here for changing the path to the eye mesh in the esp file. NPCs should also be changed if you edit a default race, but if you run across vampires they will probably have googly eyes unless you find a replacement for the vampire eye texture. Edit: Ok you got it working. Great! :)
