spazzization Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 I know nothing about modding so i figured hopefully a kind modder who has some time will want to make this, also this might clash with Empires Glory but i'll post it anyway. Some time after finishing the main quest, you are summoned by Chancellor Ocato, who tells you that a powerful warlock (haven't thought of a name yet) has come from another realm through some kind of wormhole. He was executed by the authorities in the said realm for crimes against humanity, but his powers were so great he was able to resurrect himself, and teleport himself into Tamriel, where he has transformed himself into a demon. Steadily regaining his powers, he is residing in a castle in the edge of Cyrodiil (haven't thought of a name for that either) where he is surrounded by his loyal minions (all sorts of monsters - undead, daedra, dragons, hired mercenaries you name it) and tons of deadly traps, You are given the not-so-easy task of infiltrating the castle and assassinating him. To succeed, you will have to acquire all manner of powerful artifacts and magical weapons if you want to have any chance of killing him. You will need to dodge the traps, solve fiendishly difficult puzzles and battle all sorts of powerful beasties... Ideally the whole quest should take place within the castle so it'll have to be HUGE - bigger than any castle ever made and stuffed full of the most lethal traps, deadly monsters and devious puzzles. This will be a challenge for the modding community, but there's countless talented modders out there who i think are up to the challenge. Skevitj Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 His troops don't have to sit still, they could launch raids against a nearby city or something to keep occupied, and if they detect you in the castle, search parties start running all over the area. Btw, how does Ocato know about this guy and his arrival? Mabey have it start with a staged raiding party against a nearby setlement and then you are called to investigate when the imperial legion detachment sent to investigate it dissapears? A castle suddenly becoming suspicious without reason doesn't work. It would need a lot more of the story side to be worked out before any progress could be made on it. Names, creature types are negligble, but quest stage ideas, and a generalish structure of the complex would be needed just for starters. Making a huge huge castle would be a nightmare in terms of possible conflicts, your best bet would be to build it up/down (preferably down), ie, doesn't look like much from the surface, but stretches for miles underground.
