how to separate male & female head textures?

Is there any mod or .esp file that can separate male & female human head textures?

My female char looks beautiful with the high res HGEC face textures. But since the male & female use the same head textures, it affects my male character also. He looked like feminine guy!! Makes me don't wanna use him for now...

Please help...i know where there is a will there is a way.

Thanks

Unless you duplicate a race and give male head texture, there's no way to give female and male head texture individually. If you want some unisex head texture, check Enayla's facial textures or Navetsea's HGEC texture.

Hey, thanks b4, for your reply...

Btw, is there a way to duplicate a race & give male head texture?

I checked Enayla's & Navetsea, but my female char looked uglier...so i chose not to use the unisex face texture.

I wonder; in Robert's male body replacer ver.5 beta, can separate body textures between imperial, breton, nord, highelf, woodelf & even redguard...all that i know, the default body textures use the same textures for all that races mentioned above.

So i hope someone could tell what to do with the head textures for different gender.

thanks

You can duplicate any race you want:

1. Run CS, open Oblivion.esm.

2. Characters->Race, right cligk on any race you want, click 'Duplicate'.

3. Duplicated entry will have DUPLICATE(number) in its name.

4. Edit duplicated race, save the plugin(you cannot save edited .esm itself).

However, if you decide to duplicate a vanilla race and make it male or female only, you will have to assign the race to all male or female NPC of that race. And, any duplicated race is treated as custom race, so you will have problem with certain quests without unofficial patches(the most known problem is 'stuck at start of the game/main quest').

**Check XEO(the latest one we can get is ver.5) to find out what it does. Although you may not like anime-style faces, but you can see it has several duplicated races to give each vanilla NPC different facial textures. Also, it uses OBSE function 'SetRaceAlias' to make duplicated races to be recognized as vanilla races.

Ok! I'll try then, LFact...

Thanks for your precious info.

I'll try to duplicate my breton race ASAP then.

Until now, i don't use the custom race yet...so maybe i won't have a vanilla race problem...

actually, i feel a bit risky to do this, hehe...But just create the backup copy, right?

Thanks...

I'll post the news to this forum soon after i can duplicate the race.

Hope we can still keep in touch.

Adios.
