Pyramid problem

Recommended Posts

You have to overwrite files. Almost always, the times it asks you to overwrite files is when the folders converge.

For example, you may be installing an armor mod. You have to put the file Cuirass.nif into data\meshes\armor\Cuirass.nif. There's a folder in there as well that goes data\meshes\architecture\building.nif.

If the two folder structures meet, it will ask you to overwrite things. But it won't, it'll just merge the folders. Usually when a file is overwritten, it's due to the fact that both files are the exact same, such as when you install two mods that use the same modder's resource. So no harm there either.

Cool, I didn't know that:S maybe I'll try downloading the mods again and see if something overwrites:P

But I'm still wondering how to use the Archive Invalidation:P I don't understand the instructions:(

Archive Invalidation Invalidated allows you as a player to bypass some steps for mod installation. Some texture replacers had to be set manually to install properly and they could modify a BSA file in ways that could be difficult to restore, they would have a file similiar to the oblivion.ini that had to be carefully filled out to install a new texture. P.S. If anyone knows I am wrong or forgetting something, add to this topic. I read this earlier and looked up archive invalidation, but it took me one hour to find this topic again.
