JonDark
Okay, I managed to clear out some of the other projects in the way. I might be able to start work on it some time this month. Maybe the next. Meantime, I found this. It's a function that turns the player into a ragdoll and can throw them in any direction. We can place an xmarker that faces upwards under the player and force it to blow the player upwards at some enormous magnitude. No problems with collision ceilings either, because it only turns the player into a ragdoll. I'm not sure yet if there's a check for if the player is in the Tamriel worldspace, but I'm certain there is one, or at least some clever workaround. ther than that, I don't think I can see any problems with PushActorAway, aside from getting them to warp to the moon at a certain altitude. Could include a gamemode check in the spell for the player's zpos and a spell variable to make sure they've cast the spell and aren't just tcl joyriding. Edit: Even better. Just found this. No xmarker necessary."Using the same reference for pusher and pushed will have send the actor straight up into the air if force is positive, and will crumple the actor to the ground if force is negative. Using only pushed reference will have the same result." Player.pushactoraway player 999999 anyone? I really want to try this out ingame, it sounds like fun. I got something like this in Fallout. You simply look at the npc you want to send flying and hit a predesignated key. The npc is thrown into the air at a high rate of speed. I love it for getting rid of pesky giant ants and super mutants.

ub3rman123
Yep. No worries, it's slowly moving up my to-do list. Meantime, I'm learning Blender so I can make it look more like the moon when I finally get to this idea. It'll get done, no worries. Just two things to do before I can start work. okappa
Considering the way gravity works in the game, as I see it, the most immersive setup would require an additional, intermediate cell, as you described it. This intermediate cell would have two spheres, one representing Tamriel and the other, the moon. Both inside a much larger sphere painted with stars (not sure if this one is possible) When the player rises to a certain altitude in Tamriel, it would be teleported to this intermediate cell, with the 'Tamriel' sphere below and the moon above.Slowly, the spheres would move around the player, switching places, as the player approaches the moon. When the moon is below the player, the player is teleported to a high altitude in the 'moon' wordspace and, then, may fly down to the surface of the moon. Same thing to go back, of course. So essentially you're going to turn Tamriel into Tales of Symphonia? Mindf*#@.

Maybe have a small house there, perhaps have an adventure or two maybe even spend a little time exploring the space between Tamriel and The Masser moon in my magical Elven Solar sailing vessel. I've never heard ot tales Of Symphonia. To be honest I didn't think It would turn out to be such a complicated idea. I see every day people adding new world spaces to the game without doing it inside giant globes or painting the inside of them with stars. Is this such an offense? I wish I knew more about modding myself. If I did I'd try and do it but since the most I've been able to do is get the damn program to open and look at it in utter confusion I have to let it to those of you who actually know what they are doing. So if you wish to call my idea a mind f__k then so be it. Maybe my imagination is just too big for the modding community to handle but I really don't believe that. I think this community is up to the task and what's more I didn't deserved your rudeness and foul language so I ask in the future you either keep it civil or don't bother commenting if you have nothing constructive to say. okappa
Whoa whoa whoa whoa wha wha WOW. Chill for a second. It was a compliment. "Mindf*#@" is basically the same thing as "it blows my mind." As in it sounds awesome and complicated. I wasn't saying it was stupid. Anyway, to explain, in Tales of Symphonia the two worlds of Sylvarant and Tethe'Alla are parallel to each other. They're connected by a passage through a ginormous invisible tower. But from Sylvarant, Tethe'Alla appears barren and small, like the moon. And vice-versa. I guess one of the things that is really hard to do when it comes to reading in these forums is understanding by context. I stand corrected and I am very sorry. I did look up Tales Of Symphonia and thought it was rather interesting even though it is anime. Don't get me wrong but to tell you the truth I get sick of seeing nearly everything turning to anime these days. Even deviant art where I have an account is getting to the point where you can't look at the front page without seeing at least a half dozen examples of the art form. Anyway back to what I was saying. I am very sorry I misunderstood you and I apologize. I I don't know much about modding myself as I said. but I do have all these ideas. This one in particular being only the tip of the iceburg. I'd like to see flying carpets, underground cities, more beast races like playable were wolves, even better shape shifters that can turn into bats rats wolves and cats. Speaking of cats I'd like to see more of them and different kinds like a giant Siamese that could be a companion. I read about one in a book by Lester Del Ray. I figure if he could think of it way back in the sixties then why not? But I think that's enough. I need to quit before you think I'm completely off my rocker. :)
okappa
You're not too far off, mods already exist for werewolves and flying carpets. Though you have to get turned into a werewolf, like vampirism... Also I'll clearly have to think twice before referencing JRPGs on a forum for a WRPG.
