AltreU
Mans biggest quest: fly an Argonian to the moon! This whole idea is kind of a funny conquest, but if one could make it happen, I'd be glad to try it out. I could aid in mod compatibility or at least in finding what it does and does not work with. JonDark
Considering the way gravity works in the game, as I see it, the most immersive setup would require an additional, intermediate cell, as you described it. This intermediate cell would have two spheres, one representing Tamriel and the other, the moon. Both inside a much larger sphere painted with stars (not sure if this one is possible) When the player rises to a certain altitude in Tamriel, it would be teleported to this intermediate cell, with the 'Tamriel' sphere below and the moon above.Slowly, the spheres would move around the player, switching places, as the player approaches the moon. When the moon is below the player, the player is teleported to a high altitude in the 'moon' wordspace and, then, may fly down to the surface of the moon. Same thing to go back, of course. This is exactly how I see it working in my head. My only problem is The only mod I ever did was to put some existing clothing from shivering isles in a tavern lying on the floor where I could pick it up and use it without going to shivering isles to get it. One point of curiosity is this, could the intermediary cell be created without gravity to simulate the pc being weightless? This would really add to the experience. One could get to this intermediary "space" and actually float around for a while just for the fun of it. One more thing could it be made to work like "Open Cities" so the transfer from the Tamriel cell to the intermediary cell and then on to the Greater moon cell would be as natural as possible. The more I think about this the more excited I get and the more inspired I become over it. I'm even thinking about visiting the smaller moon now. I mean why not? If it could be done with the greater moon then why not a trip from there to the smaller moon and then home to Tamriel or even the other way around. If you know or are acquainted with anyone who may have ideas how this may be done. I would love to hear from them.
ub3rman123
I don't think the engine supports no-gravity. You can set certain creatures to be able to fly, but that might cause massive problems if you applied it to the player.

Every time I think of this I am laughing but still the very accomplishment would be something. I'm not a modder as I've said before but I just had to bring this idea up for people to discuss. Who knows, maybe someone will actually make it possible to have an adventure on Tamriel's largest moon. This leaves things open to all kinds of adventure. Just imagine meeting the denizens of this new found world. Are they friendly? Do they know the nine? Have they had run ins with the demons of oblivion? Could they be at war with the inhabitants of the smaller moon or did they wipe them out long ago keeping only a few alive to languish far from home as slaves? Have they now turned their eye toward the fertile world of Tamriel. If so can we defeat them? and in so doing can we save those remaining lost souls who look longingly to the sky and return them to their far away home Will there be a home for them to return to? I know all this sounds very science fictionish but there is such a thin line between science fiction and fantasy. I can tell the story. I can see it all happening in my head. The only thing I can't do is create the mod to tell the story in.

That would be nearly the same. Actually I think it would be the same. As far as player characters flying causing problems? My pc flying is what got me thinking about all this in the first place and I'm having as much fun with this discussion as I have playing the game. QQuix
Some time ago, I did a ZeroG room for exanimis ( ) The mod is HERE, if anybody wishes to check the scripts (or use them, or adapt them, or whatever) I can't help here, as I still have at least one year to go with my main project, The Evolving Society (see my signature)

Same thing to go back, of course. One could conceivably use a sort of gate something huge floating at the furthest height one could get to in the Tamriel cell. The moons wouldn't have to get much bigger because in the intermediate cell one would still be quite far away the only difference in the actual sky would be that you would see it all the way around in every direction. The sun would be visible. Imagine floating there in space watching an eclipse as the smaller moon or even the disk of Tamriel herself slowly moves in front of the sun in her orbit. This idea has some awesome potential. As I said in another comment I can tell this story if people can get together and create the mod. I would love to see this. If nothing else it proves that it can be done. I guess I don't have to ask if it could be adapted to a huge sphere. I imagine it can but do you think it would be possible to do away with gravity all together within the spherical cell?
AltreU
There's a spell in the Midas collection (feather fall maybe?) that nullifies damage from any fall, which could be incorporated into the mod if the ZeroG thing couldn't be applied. To simulate the experience, you could also use a little bit of slow-motion with jump process and then some scripting for higher jumping. There's a spell in the Supreme Magicka set that applies a range of jump heights.
Genzel
I know how to create some of the basic things in Blender, up to completing that bridge in the Blender tutorials book (So glad my library carries it). I just can't get things to export from Blender, as NifScripts won't install without Python and Python keeps bugging up. Not to get off topic, but you can get Blender with the python and what not all est to go from here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12248Python wasn't working for me, until I used that version. But don't get off topic here. There could be a Dwemer "Airship" which is essentially the antigravity interior shown in the previously posted video. Then, much like in the bloated float, when you want to arrive, you rest in the ship, then leave onto the moon. The dwemer are quite clever.
