Oblivion GOTY Steam version wont load any mod textures or mod that con

Hello,

When i try to install a texture mod or a mod that contains a texture folder to put in the data folder it wont make the mod do what it is suppose to do.

I still get the normal textures that are from the original oblivion textures,also changing the model textures from NPC and the character you control also dont work due the texture problem i have with the steam version of oblivion.

Is there any way to fix it?

Mods that only contains a bsa. or esp file works without any problem.

I know how to install mods because when i had still the retail version of the not GOTY edition all the problems above did not exist while i was playing.

Thanks anyway for reading this and hopefully somebody of you may have the solution to my problem.

have you activated a form of archive invalidation (if not install the mod of the same name)
