Joshua96Guest
Does that mean my graphics adapter can't run it? Or my processor?
M48A5
Does that mean my graphics adapter can't run it? Or my processor? It means you Graphics Processing Unit (adapter) is not strong enough.

Papajack55
In your ini, if you haven't gotten it running, look for the line busethreadedAI=0 and change the 0 to a 1. Then add the line NumHWThreads=2. Just under it. FO3 is a single core game, not a two core or more. If that doesn't work, then change the 2 on that last one to a 1. It was my last ditch effort to make my run too.

The game has problems when the CPU has more than 2 cores. That is the reason for the changes in the .ini.
Papajack55
Hey thanks for the heads up on that 411, M4BAS. Much appreciated. I just got to figure out how to get it up on my win 8.1 now. Got it runniung on my win7 no problem, buit win 8.1....it doesn't want to play ball. I also used the line in the ini and changed it to two core instead of one core. Thing is, I only have the game on and that's it. Plus the update your supposed to have.
