TheFoxy87
Make sure you put the correct files into the data folder (i.e. do not put a data folder into data...usually mods are folders called meshes, textures, sounds...and .esp and maybe .esm files...THOSE go into data) Would also be helpful to know what mods you try to install and what mods are causing problems
David Brasher
Your directory structure may be different than mine, but the last part will be the same. c:\Games\Oblivion\Data Within the "Data" folder there should be these things:[mods].espMeshes (folder)Textures (folder)Sounds (folder) Within the folders will be more folders or files. The structure will vary from mod to mod. Read the readme files closely for installation instructions. Look at your downloaded compressed mod and analyze its structure. Compare it to where the decompressed files you installed are. Make sure the directory trees are exactly the same.
Fonger
some are workin but dont show up in the data file selecter.sounds like Windows7/Vista and the UAC conspiracy to keep people from virusing themselves. Did you install to someplace that has the phrase Program somewhere - somehow - in the directory name?
