AlphaFireWolf
Not too long ago I began using Fook2 1.1/MMM/WMK, and at some point in the game I realized that I never got the DLC quest spam. I looked in my data folder and found that the dlc esp's and bsa's were all there, and fomm was loading them. I tried a clean install, and used only Fook2 1.0. When I got outside of the vault I was greeted by the dlc quest spam. However, once I upgraded to fook2 1.1,(I deleted the fook2 1.0 esp's) started a new save, and once I got outside of the vault I didn't get the quests. I've been as far as megaton and no dlc messages. I am not using any other mods besides fook2 1.1. I deleted the old fook2 1.0 esps beforehand and used fomm to organize my load order. I noticed that unchecking the following fixed my problem: FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.ESMFOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.espFOOK2 DIK [Hotfix].esp. When I uncheck these the dlc quests start once outside vault (on clean save, haven't tested on old saves). Here is my load order...[X] Fallout3.esm[X] Anchorage.esm[X] ThePitt.esm[X] BrokenSteel.esm[X] PointLookout.esm[X] Zeta.esm[X] CALIBR.ESM[X] FOOK2 - Main.ESM[X] FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.ESM[X] FOOK2 - Main.esp[X] FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esp[X] FOOK2 Main [Hotfix].esp[X] FOOK2 DIK [Hotfix].esp BTW: I have fose (The lasted stable version) installed. I am using Fallout Game of the Year version (bought from steam), maybe that has something to do with it? Any ideas with what is wrong? I would rather not go without the fook2 improvements to the dlc. Fonger
what happens when you reach megatoon note - last year was a thread in Fookunity forums about delaying the pop-ups in the dlc are you absolutely certain that fook 1.1 doesn't do this automatically. I saw in FO3edit that Fook2 1.1 dlc plugins changed the quest start delay (Forgot exact name) from 0.bunch of zeros to 1.bunch of zeros. I am going to start up a new save and and wait a few days around megaton and see if that was the problem.
AlphaFireWolf
I went inside megaton (EDIT: What I meant was I started a fresh save with only dlc + fook2.), accepted quest to defuse bomb, waited a few days, etc. No quest dlc popup.
spheron
When you say a clean save, do mean of the DLC or FOOK or both? You could try disabling FOOK getting the quest pop ups saving and then re-enabling it?
quicksilverva
there wont be any DLC spam with FOOK2 1.1 Beta 2. theres an integrated mod that prohibits this. to make sure that they ARE working, look for the following: basement in last house on right in springvale (broken steel)bailey's crossing metro station (anchorage)pit train tunnel (the pitt)catherine in rivet city's muddy rudder (point lookout)
MrChrisCJ
I'm using Fook2 1.0 and Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta I have quests for in my Pipboy, I got the anchorage one by listening to the outcast transmission, but it doesn't seem to work for The Pitt and I cannot get the quest to begin I found wehrner, he had the firefight, but I talk to him and he just repeats "we have to keep moving" but never does, the raider camp next to the train tunnel is there, can I simply enter the tunnel to begin the quest, didn't really want to break anything as I cannot even talk to Wehrner to discuss it

Example: setstage xx00108c 10 - the first 2 digits "xx" depend on your installed mods
