reindeer51
I play with a timescale of 10 and one downside I noticed from this is how the weather cycle lastsa lot longer. Rain can last for several days and blizzards even longer. It's nice to have a variety in weather but it's getitng intolerable when the bad weather goes for this long duration. So is there any fix for this? A mod that shortens the rain/snowstorm duration or something? Or maybe just reduce the chances and frequency of rain and blizzards occurring I guess it can't be that hard to make. I'd do it in the CK myself if I knew how... RunningBare
I use a timescale of 10, never seen particular weathers last for days, though rain does seem to be happening for long hours(not days), are you running any weather mods?
reindeer51
No weather mods. Actually I only started getting this problem after installing in CoT but that's also when I changed my timescale. I've since uninstalled the mod but still the rain issue persists.I notice the weather is actually based on a chance factor as well. Sometimes while raining, you go indoors, emerge outside and the rain just stops. Other times the rain occurs more than once in a single day, like just after the previous rain stops, a hour or so later, it starts raining all over again. But more often than not, the average duration of rain I get is for the entire day, extending to 2 days if unlucky enough.
