  1. I'm not online most of the time so if you're looking for permission to port my mods, please go ahead. Just give credits where due. Only PM me if you're looking to modify my mods directly.
  2. You could just get Wet and Cold to have all NPCs equip cloaks in the snowy outdoors. Also use "Winter Is Coming" for more cloak variations. I find that suitable enough. Nords are very resistant to the cold weather after all. Anytime my player character (who is Imperial) goes into a snow setting, I just equip a travel cloak myself, and perhaps, fur hood to go along.
  3. I read somewhere about another suggestion that was made. Try adding these lines in your Skyrim.ini: [backgroundLoad] bBackgroundLoadLipFiles=1 Apparently it'll load your lip anim files earlier before a cell loads. Not sure if it solves the issue though.
  4. Anyone knows of a HD retex for Falmer dungeons and caves? I've searched everywhere but doesn't seem like anyone has made one. Surprising...considering that Falmer hideouts are one of the most common locations in the game. Do most people just not notice the ugly vanilla textures? The tents and huts are especially horrible to look at IMO.
  5. You can use the mod NPC Protected Redux. It makes all NPCs protected so they can't be killed. (excluding very specific NPCs who are meant to die). The difference about protected status is that you can still kill the NPCs, just that no one else can kill them.
  6. Uh....mine, maybe? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59044 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58366 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60430
  7. "Are you lost?" is the default dialogue line she uses when there's no quests you have related to her. Have you talked to Tullius yet? You should have the civil war objective in your journal I think.
  8. Navmesh is quite a tedious thing to work with. So many methods of making it as well. I think auto-generating is the only option here, given the sheer size of the world you're going to make. Shouldn't be that bad anyway, especially if you aren't planning to add that many actors into the world.
  9. Feel free to make one yourself. Right on. It's so annoying to read from all those mod absorbers being "confused" and "shocked" about the modding community not delivering what they would like to see. And in the next sentence downgrading other peoples work being "so bad". Do these folks have any idea how hard it is to make good animations? And all these grumblers can't stop playing the game for the 36th time, and return something to the criticized community instead? And btw, there are hundreds of male poses in Halo'S Pinup Posers. Actually there's only 50 (maybe less) male poses in Pinup Posers. And most of them are more feminine-like, than really being male poses..
  10. Turn all shadow settings to 0 in your SkyrimPrefs.ini if you want to disable shadows completely, though I don't recommend it. For better crouch animations, I'd suggest Pretty Combat Animations. The installation is all modular so you can mix and match
  11. I used to have that "IP banned" glitch as well. Got it randomly every now and then when I visited the site. No longer do I have the problem, thankfully. Just keep refreshing your browser and it should fix itself. If not, then it could be a bigger problem on your end.
  12. oh sweet, how did I fail to notice that  . Thanks for the reply.
  13. There's nothing like that for Nexus. As mentioned, you can track the mods, which gives you about the same benefits. It'll notify you of any mod updates, new uploads AND new comments. That is, according to your preferences. Go to your preference settings and adjust the Feed preferences to your liking.
  14. You can track the mod's you've commented on. So whenever a new comment for the mod appears, you get a notification. You might also have to adjust your relevant settings and preferences for the site.
  15. sorry if this is a stupid question to ask but I've searched everywhere and couldn't find any help on this. In my mod editing page, I've got the option to share editing access with other members. This requires the UserID of the member however, which I have no idea how to find. I know I can find out my user ID in the User Area. But how do I find the user ID of other Nexus members?
  16. If you don't like SFO, Dat Grass, Groundcovers etc, then you should try Grass on Steroids. It's the best grass mod there is IMO. Short or tall grass, dense or less dense, it's all your choice. The grass are also very well placed in a messy fashion, to give it a realistic look which I like. As for animals, there's only one and only one mod I know that adds tons of animals called Animallica.
  17. It's been done nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37403
  18. Only ways you could pose your character like that would be through custom idle animations or the Pinup Poser mod.
  19. You can just use Better Males to make your male character look young.
  20. Lol, nonsense. That's just going overboard.. It is true, removing scripted mods can muck up savegames but it's not as severe as people think, and quite rare. Unless you had like a dozen heavy script mods uninstalled at once, the impact should be very minimal and not even noticeable. And that was before. Now with the script cleaner tool there's no reason to worry about removing scripted mods anymore. There's also another other save cleaners, like the one that removes dead cells. The best one for me would be the script scapel diagnostic tool (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045). Very thorough and guaranteed to fix most saves so long as you know what you're doing. So really, there's no deadend to a savegame, because there's always a fix. I once had my savegame bloat up to over 100MB in size but I've since reduced it to below 50MB. And this is the same 400+ hours savegame I've had countless abandoned scripts and mods. Yeah, I'm the kind that plays just one character and sticks to that character save throughout. So you can imagine...
  21. "please make some machine guns and add a Chinese stealth suit." Fallout is pretty much what you're looking for there
  22. lol I know that feel. I use lots of population mods myself so interiors are usually crowded. But it's not the patrons in inns that bothers me as much as NPCs looking at you while in conversations. I don't think it should be hard to make a mod for this. Hopefully somebody can do it but I highly doubt so...
