I'm no good at math, barely passed trig in high school.)Hobbies: internet and computers, all goes hand in hand Favourite games: Fallout 3, Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat (I play on edge's 24/7 dust2 server pretty regularly), and SauerbratenGaming platform of choice: PCOperating system of choice: Debian GNU/kFreeBSD (dual booted with Windows 7, only boot into it for the few games that don't perform well in Wine) Since I'm no good at pulling jokes out of thin air (I'm more for wit than your normal run-of-the-mill humour), I'll just leave you with my cleanly presented background information. bben46
Welcome to TesNexus. As a fellow Geek with a BS in Computer Science, How did you get through without the math? Heavy math was a requirement 30 years ago, as well as a lot of business courses - I took so many business courses I ended up with a double degree BS CSC, & BS BA (that's BS squared). Many of the people where I went to school ended up with the double BS. A few went on to become MBAs ( I was an MBA candidate). An MBA with a BS in computer science can terrorize a corporate IT department because they can't get away with the usual stuff. Then I worked for several years programming measuring instruments using FORTRAN where a math background was absolutely necessary. Mostly geometry and trig, but physics came in handy as well. The business courses have helped as well. At least I know when some MBA or Accountant is spouting nonsense, and know the terminology to let him know that I know in his own language.
