zprospero
Well, I think I could add in the claws and belt. The difficultly that would arise is anything new that gets added onto the belt has to be weight-painted, and I can't pull that off. Anything that exists currently on that belt can be added and/or re-textured, but new items I can't do. As for the belt buckle, I doubt it. However, depending on the texture's UV map, I might be able to stamp a skull onto the texture and create an illusion of one, especially if I do the same to the normal map. For today, however, I think I'm going to head off to bed, after I PM Alonso the trick I used on this robe. And don't worry about the note, whenever you have time. ub3rman123
Just what is weight painting? I've heard a lot about it, and most people seem to hate it. Is it like the pathgridding of modeling or something?
alonsomartinez
Weigh painting is when you weight vertices to a bone Its hard to understand and it casues problems in some cases And Z Kieran asked me to add the belt to a armor peice and let me tell you it does not play nice . The bones in the belt are conflicting with some of the other bones and I have tried in nifscope and blender to join the peices but it just wont work ! If you can get it to work let me know
ub3rman123
Ahh.. Bones. I hate bones. Bloody things stop me from adding shoulderpads to my robes when I make them.
alonsomartinez
Hahah bones are easy I wanted to show Kieran something ! This is what happens when you try to add the belt to the armor and dont do it properly !
kieranfoy
Wow. I think I understand why this request got so tricky, That picture... Sheesh! Melt-ting! All I can say is, go Alosnso and Z! You da mans! Unless one of you happens to be a woman in disguise, in which case... things get confusing. Well, this conversation has gotten waaaaay to intellectual for me, so I'll go read some booger jokes.
zprospero
Well, Blender has decided to freak out on me, so it may be a little while before I can attempt the meshing changes. In the meantime, here's the second texture you asked for: http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/zprospero/PlagueRob10.jpghttp://i816.photobucket.com/albums/zz84/zprospero/PlagueRobe11.jpg
kieranfoy
Ah, darn. Sorry to hear about Blender, but those skakking programs are always fething up. It happens. I'm sure it'll start cooperating eventually. And, da-yum, but that new texture is yummy. I mean, look at it! So pustulent, so defiled...
