NattyBumppo
Has anyone out here heard of/experienced this bug? In the Fighter's Guild storyline, I go to Water's Edge, trippin' on Hist, and along with the three guys from the Blackwood Company, massacre the "goblins" in the town. (I also tried, instead of killing the goblins myself, running off until it ended that part of the quest automatically and sent me to Odreyn's house.) After I get to Odreyn's, he tells me to go back to the town, so I fast-travel back to Water's Edge. When I get there, I see all of the town's villagers (outside), and they're standing up, lifeless, and slowly floating backwards (south, actually). I can't collide with them or even identify them with my cursor, but they're there, floating backwards. I don't have any collision with the Water's Edge buildings (I can walk right through them!) and I can't go in their doors. I'm playing through from a save file which was saved in the Blackwood Company hideout right before taking Hist, and this same behavior has been duplicated three times now. Does anyone have any idea what's up with this, and how I might fix it?
Switch
Haha yeah I experienced the same thing, it's weird. As far as I know you can still continue the quest though, can't you? I have to admit I can't quite remember how the rest of that quest goes, I just know I experienced that bug and I was still able to complete it... is there someone you need to speak to outside? Tried having a look around?
Malchik
Yes it can happen, but the guy you need to talk to will be there too as Switch said. I resurrected the lot of them via the console. They are still dead as far as the game goes but I get bored with all the dead villages we have! They go back to their houses and talk to you about rumours, which is all they did anyway.
