Yuan Ti Eye Problem

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read the post,

I recently uploaded "Yuan Ti playable female for HGEC" with a little trouble shooting I was able to get pasted the purple skins and then ran into an other problem with the eyes.

Using GIMP to look at the selection of eyes, which are all very well done, I would like to add all the selection of eyes to the race selection menu and fix the problem of the eyes looking off to the side.

Then, if its not too much trouble some guidance on how to add hair to the race, specifically from Ren's hair.

Thank you for time and take care.

As for the eyes, your eyes probably use another mesh than the eye mesh the texture was ment for. There is no way in fixing this, unless you can edit the textures in gimp yourself, to fit the UV map of the eyes (you can get it through nifskope, rightclick on the model itself, go to texture and select export template). As for adding the hair, make sure you have the files in your data folder, and then add them in the characters>hair menu, by rightclicking on the list and selecting new (you'll have to find both the mesh and the texture).

Thx for the help Today. I tried to change to make the changes, i just dont know enough about Gimp and TES Con Set to get any thing to add or change. I did go to the Characters and add a new hair.nif w/ dds, but it never showed up for the Yuan Ti. The Yuan Ti was the active file for the adjustments.

Adding a hair to the Hairs list isn't the only thing you need to do - You also need to add it to the race's own hair list.

First, open both the Race and Hair dialogs open. (Make sure the new hair has the "Playable" option selected, as well one or both of the options to make it available for male or female so you can choose it in the chargen menu in-game.) Then, go to the race you wish to change, and go to Body Data. From the Hairs dialog, click and drag the new hair to the race's Hairs list, and it will be added.

From there, it should be ready to test and use!
