DLCs Crashing

Greetings, all,

 

I am very new to the world of Fallout 3 PC Modding, but I already have issues concerning the Console Versions of FO3. Particularly, with the DLCs for PS3 (PlayStation 3). My problem is this: I have a relatively old PS3, bought new 2008 pre-slim era at Best Buy, that I treat rather well, up until the DLCs started crashing my PS3 save. I am so confused as to why the console has such huge script issues and continuously and randomly crashes whether in combat, in the vanilla Fallout or wherever or doing whatever.

 

If someone can explain to me what I can do, if anything, to alleviate the issue, that would be most wondrous.

 

I will be acquiring a very powerful PC for the first time in a month or so that will allow me to join the FO3 PC modding world. So any tips for that would also be most helpful.

you're on a console

 

the classic solutions to a console problem apply

 

1 - clean you disk

 

2 - turn off your console until it grows cold

 

3 - buy a new console
