oricbohrer
heya. while studying this wonderful tool i came up with a problem. I was trying to merge two of my mods (simple esps) into one esp, as described in item 6.4 of miaxs guide for fo3edit. i did the steps below: 1) loaded the mods in foom to adjust the load order of the mods. placed mod B (receiver) below Mod A (giver) 2) loaded Fo3edit and used "overwrite as deep copy into" from mod A into mod B. 3) marked mod A as B's Master when prompted. 4) saved and tested in game. was working fine. but then i wanted to use mod B without having to keep mod A as it's master, i was actually merging mods to use less esps as possible in my load order. i tried to set B as master changing its flag header to ESM and removing the requirement to have Mod A as master, but the game cashes every time i game-test the changes. I need Advice on how to solve it. thanks in advance. Edited September 24, 2014 by oricbohrer
BlackRampage
Try this instead: Merge Plugins XEdit Script (make sure to be using the latest version of Fo3Edit) I don't ever use "overwrite as deep copy into" by the way. When it's something really small with only a few records, I just use "copy as override into" on whatever records I'd need, then remove the master dependence. BlackRampage
Of course. Fo3Edit is exactly the same program as Tes5Edit is. The only difference is in the name.
