A few new modder Qs

Hi, im new to this modding thing.. but have been trying to piece together a custom set using various pieces from existing mods.

Ive managed to figure out how to cut and paste meshes, fit them together, edit them in blender and change textures n such.. but there are some things that I am stumped on.

1. How do you apply a texture to the flip side of a mesh? for example, if a skirt or cuff of a glove is textured on the outside, but the inside flipside has no texture, how do i apply one?

2. Does anyone have a link for a toturial on how to add brand new meshes to an NIF (without replacing an existing piece, which is what i have been doing). Like if I wanted to add an extra pouch or ornament to a belt, how do I do that without having to bump out an existing NIFtristrip/shape? Every time Ive tried to simply add something, it ends up not attached to the skeleton and appears as a jumbled pile of grey in blender.

3. Is there any way to make an piece of armor into a light source? I want to make a "glove" slot item that is floating ball or something that acts as a torch, or maybe even attach a gem that to my helm that shines with a blue light.. etc. I know there is the "light" enchantment.. but that gives off a ghostly greenish hue that im really tired of.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks for reading!

Number one is easy enough. Just open the nif in Nifskope, right click the trishape/tristrip and select node>attach property>nistencilproperty. Should make the mesh two sided.

Number two is easy too. Just copy and paste the trishape/tristrip to the Scene Root node.

I'm not sure about the last one.
