Crashing on the Strip unless I dismiss all companions, all Securitrons hostile, NCR trooper with Old Cowboy Hat appearing to cause it (Freeside Open)

I keep crashing on the Strip(Area with the Tops casino) unless I dismiss/kill all my companions. Once I finally do enter, the Securitrons all try to kill me and theres a panicking Female NCR with an old cowboy hat that spawns RIGHT ONTOP of me when I enter. This seems to be causing the constant crashes.

 

Do I need both "Freeside Open Patches"? One comes with Freeside Open, the other comes with The Inheritance. I also use New Vegas Bounties, but I already have the patch to make it work with Freeside Open.

Sounds like a mod conflict to me, that or your load order needs tweaking. However, what stands out to me right now is the freesideopenedebug.esp file, have you tried playing without that file?

One would suspect that has something to do with a mod that alters companions or the strip, then. Are you using NVAC? If it does not eliminate the crash itself, it may help identifying the source.

That depends on what the patch that comes with Freeside Open is for. I don't use the mod myself, but looking at the downloads, I see the NV Bounties patch but none for The Inheritance.

 

Regarding the random NPC that spawns, you can at least find out which mod cowboy lady is from (if she is from a mod) if you activate the console and click on her to get her ID. As for the hostile securitrons, that may be a mod conflict like MoonDew1 suggested or a vanilla bug, although I don't know why the latter would only kick in halfway down the strip. (Then again, since when did NV bugs make any sense.)

 

Did you use a program to sort your load order or do it manually?

Also, merged patch! People love merged patches. You could try making one.

My computer died last week, so I cant test anything. The power supply or PSU crapped out.
