ZhonoVeranhaut Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Alright, so I've been having this issue with the Kajiit textures in this mod, in that they don't seem to be correct for whatever reason. I've looked all over the web and, after reading a bit, I've came to the conclusion that my female body mod, HGEC, was the thing causing the problem. After numerous attemped fixes that have failed, I simply tried turning the mod off and uninstalling it... but, upon starting up, the textures for males were exactly the same; misaligned, patchwork jumbles. So, I'm at a loss here.... It seems that the problem may be attributed to either A) Something left behind when uninstalling HGEC with Wrye Bash, or B) Something else in my modlist is affecting the textures. Robert's Male, HGEC, and the Oblivion Character Overhaul are not a part of this modpack, and these mods have been added after the fact. I can tolerably forgo the body mods and just stick with the new faces, but I would like to use the bodies if possible. ArchiveInvalidated Invalidation has been installed, so I'm certain that that's not an issue... And this only occours with male Kajiits. I did have this problem with female kajiits, but a simple .esp fixed that... So, is there something conflicting here? Or is there something up with the load order? Or is there something I'm just completely missing? Or is the Superpack just not a good thing to use with outside mods? If not, are there any recommendations that could be made? LFact Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) One flaw by Bethesda: assign same file as Khajiit male & female feet texture(unlike other races). Normally it works well, but when it comes to body replacers, it can become PITA, for almost all known body replacers use feet texture to wrap around whole(except head, and maybe hand) body. To avoid such issue, you can do:1. make a plugin to assign seperate feet texture to male and female(so make will use footmale.dds, female will use footfemale.dds).2. leave female alone, assign renamed texture to male(I think Robert's male body does this). But since both use plugin that edits RACE record, such will conflict with any other plugins which edit the same record. Usually the last one will win, unless everything conflicts each other and make a big mess. To solve that, merged patch(like bashed patch) is needed. **By the way, does OCO2 have its own male/female body texture? If so, RM5 plugin may not be needed.
