Kota8899
Ehh well call me a noob, but ive never use the Oblivion mod manager to install a file before. i just downloaded the cute elves race mod, and i see that theres no manual installation for it. so i downloaded it and then clicked it, but unlike the instructions say on the mods description, OBMM doesn't come up or anything. My comp asks me what file i want to open it with and then it crashes and goes back to the desktop. (im running vista. which sucks.) So i was wondering, if i could get any help at all on this one. any help at all would be appreciated
slygothmog
You will need to download and install the OBMM itself http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097
yeldarb
Before you get too many mods installed remember to place Oblivion outside of Program Files and UAC issues. I use C:Games\Oblivion. This will allow you to play Oblivion and have UAC protection for your P.C. at the same time.
Kota8899
i have OBMM, and i already have a alot of mods installed, all of them manually installed. its ten times easier for me to do it that way, and if i dont want to use i mod, i just uncheck it in the files list when the started thing pops up. And yeah...im gonna ask this :P what is UAC and how does it affect my game :P
