MonsterHunterMaster
Hello there..I have a problem.I made a mesh once and now I want to texture it. But first I need to make a new texture. So I opened Gimp and tried to make one and it looks good, but when I open the texture in blender and I texture the mesh, the texture looks so "edged".. You know, if there is a little circle in the texture, it looks like a square in blender. I can't make it "more round" cuz..how can I say it..I have really small details and I use one pixel for those details, so I can't make then more round cuz I read that it's the best when the size of the texture is 512x512. I also tried it with 1024x1024 pixels, but it looks like crap too..I hope you understand what I'm meaning... Can anybody give me some tips on how large the texture should be and give me some tips on how to make textures? Is it good to have small details? Oh, I also give Kudos ;)

MonsterHunterMaster
http://i45.tinypic.com/2lsinut.jpgHere I made a screenshot. The first part is a better version of my texture, but it still does not look good at all.And the second one is the texture I had in the beginning, which makes the circles look very edged and stuff.I don't really now how I can improve it, so it is not so edgy, but also not so like the first texture...(I'm also going to change the hardcore-edged light blue stripe on the right of the texture..:P)You also can see all the pixels, if you know what I mean, those squares, so I'm also not really able to draw normal circles...
