WinterRanger97
Ok, so I got a bit of a problem with the mod I'm working on. First, I'm rather new to the whole concept of new world spaces. I understand how they work and how to edit them, but not their finer points. Basically, here's my problem: I'm trying to recreate a previously destroyed world space from the game. However, I need to copy over the terrain information. I've tried using the original as a Parent Worldspace, but this means I cannot edit the terrain, as it would also change the terrain in the Parent Worldspace. Any help is greatly appreciated. vTemporalZEROv
Hommmmm you would have to remove the parts that already exist and replace them with new things to make them look new or whatever.
WinterRanger97
Hommmmm you would have to remove the parts that already exist and replace them with new things to make them look new or whatever.I understand that. However, I need to copy the actual landscape data so the terrain is the same. However, using a Parent Worldspace to do this makes it so I can't edit the terrain. If I do, it would change the landscape in the nuked versions.
Fallout2AM
What about removing the parent relationship and then right click - Duplicate, in the Worldspace menu?
WinterRanger97
What about removing the parent relationship and then right click - Duplicate, in the Worldspace menu?Attempting to duplicate a world space will crash the GECK. It seems that that feature never really worked.
Fallout2AM
I guess the only way could be via xEdit then. But personally I never tried it.

Fallout2AM
I would give a try and copy it myself. Tomorrow I make an attempt copying a worldspace of mine, if it works I tell you more
