Problems about projectile editing

I'm creating a projectile... these are the problems i can't come up with:

1- when i go ingame to see the projectile happens that as i fire, the bullet doen't immediatedly hit the ground or a wall or enemy...between the fire and the impact there is too much time...how can i fix this?

2- i've noticed there some wep have a muzzlflash that is totally absent in the folder that should contain it as geck says to me...any ideas?
