Unable to set file requirements.

After this feature was added to the website it is possible to activate this option for newly uploaded files, but trying to add this to any older files is impossible because the little box you need to check is greyed out.

I already set "Hearthfire" as a requirement in the "required files" option, but actually activating it when you are directly editing the download file is not possible:

Now I could just as easily remove this file and re-upload it, but that will put my downloads for that file back on "0" and I really don't want to do that.

Any possibility this can be fixed so that older files can be updated to have this feature as well without the need to re-upload them all over again?
