ambalamps
I had Oblivion and the OBSE and i had the Xenomorph race mod which worked fine until i had to reinstall oblivion because of a screw up with seph's dual wield mod. Now after i reinstalled oblivion with obse i tried to use the Xenomorph mod again, however, now when i try to use it, my game freezes when the Bethesda Softworks logo appears on the screen. Can anyone tell wtf's going on?

For some reason that seem to work for me
LFact
Than reinstall obse with the src folder in your oblivion folder not your data one. \src is not required to make OBSE work. That's just source file directory, so unless you're interested on programming, you don't need it.

bben46
After reinstalling, make sure you remembered to install the latest patch if needed, and reinstall OBSE. Then remember to start Oblivion using the OBSE launcher (Or from OBMM) instead of using the Oblivion launcher. OBSE MUST be started first. If you have a mod that requires OBSE and it is not started before Oblivion it will crash. Your old shortcut may not work now and may need to be redone. Tomlong54210
Are you using Steam? If not, do you have the two OBSE DLLs and the obse_loader.exe in your Oblivion folder? Are you launching from the obse launcher? When you reinstalled, did you delete the My Games/Oblivion folder? (It is fine if you moved your saves out of it before deleting it.)
