Your best/most beloved character, and why

In many games you are called upon to make your own character, or pilot an existing character's moral choices, and for some of us, these characters become objects of great pride and even soemthing akin to a pet. But what are some of your favorites?

For the most part this is for player made characters, but you can put anything here. Likewise screenshots are fine if you can upload em, just stick to forum rules, dont post porn or upskirt photography, and dont even think about claiming your guy is better than someone else's.

How could you not love Minsc and Boo? They are a classic

Edit: I seem to have misread the post but in the end it is correct. I actually made in DA, NWN and Oblivion that resemble like Minsc because I used him in BG more than my own character  . So I have not lied to you at all, Minsc is my favourite character. How could you not love Minsc and Boo? They are the best (p.s forgive the fan chatter, that's just me :teehee:)

My Fallout 3 character, Silent Pete (360). I've used him since last year, and become attached to him. Leve 26 until I accidently saved over him with a different character, though I did have a fall-back point for him.

For me, my absolute favorite would be my pc oblivion character Nemesis.

Nemesis was simply much more enjoyable to play than anything else Ive been in any other game. A custom race of my own design, sporting a custom class and hand made spells and powers, Nemesis was easily the deadliest thing in tamriel. Nemesis' only weakness was its own magic, as it had titanic damage reflection, enormous armor mitigation and unstoppable attacks. it was only when these attacks were reflected that she could even be damaged, though at level 145 and armed with massive magic resistance that didnt do much. In appearance Nemesis would and should have scared tamriel's populace out of their minds, in the end I had to modify their responses to my appearance manualy because it was just so ridiculous. 144 infamy, 6 mass murders and a reputation for slaughtering the entire populations of bravil and cheydinhal and they still say HI! like Im the villiage priest.

What makes Nemesis my favorite is the fact that thanks to the CS and an overactive imagination I was able to hardcopy a character from one of my own novels into the game, in this case, a deleted archvillain, initialy removed for simply being too uber. I'd supply a screenshot, but my PC isnt cooperating.

Another one I loved playing as, though in this case not mine, was Gorgutz 'ead 'unta in Warhammer: Dawn Of War: dark crusade. Gorgutz was an oddity, an ork usualy portrayed as being able to out think and out manuever human and alien opponents, while being possesed of orky courage and brute strength. Gorgutz had double appeal: a smart, funny likable character, and a towering greenskin brute, able to rip a man apart with his bare hands. He lead a force of Orkz, which are fun enough on their own, but of all the meantest, greenest race, "der werent no won meena or greena dan boss Gorgutz"

@brokenergy I liked Minsk and Boo for the funny dialogues. (especially the Edwin comments on on that special girdle (the Cursed one)

To myself it was the Nameless one of Planescape: Torment. Since then I like Michel T. Weiss as he did give his voice not only to the Nameless one but to Edison Trend as well from Freelancer. I liked the way the Nameless on said "Updated my journal!" It was so dry.

Thats why I like the voice cast of Planescape: Torment, Michel T. Weiss, Mitch Pileggi, Sheena Easton, Dan Castellaneta, Tony Jay. Thank to those voices I like that game still.

For me it would be 2 characters,

One was for EQOA for ps2, her name was Aoqe (I know not very original, she started as a mule lol) she was the first level 60 Necro/Scholar in the game. At the time that was the highest level attainable.

The other was My Necro on Everquest II (Kaji), the reason is that playing her was really the only communication I had with my wife for several years while in the Marines. We did see each other when I was on leave, but this was normally our only form of communication.

I used to have an Oblivion character called Reddin, I clocked some massive amount of hours with him until the save glitched over and promptly died

I don't know if you could call it Hubris..a bit of ego.. or just lack of inventiveness... but I like to use a char with my own name .Just me being a dreamer I'd say... putting myself in the game...

tho my very first ever char was named obviously... RedVex.... then became RedVexHK after joining a guild.in many games online and offline I've also used Koyasha... however my favorite name has always been my own name.

I don't use it for hubris or ego tho.. I just like to play as myself... and yes Minsc and Boo sooooo rock... but I always loved Imoen.. she was always like me.. a smile and quick wit.. always trying to get everyone laughing and lighten the mood.. maybe she was too much so... but I liked her.. and she always gave me that sisterly feeling.. I always wanted to protect her and I was indignant if someone insulted her.. she was MY SISTER!! LOL>. ok... I'm silly...
