eldritch
They don't appear until you are level 20 something. They will then appear randomly in front of Daedric shrines, in tombs and roaming about the ashlands. If you do the Azura's Star quest you always find one in Sheograth which must be killed in order to complete the quest. They drop nice items, the best of which is the occasional Daedric Tower Shield (holds 225 enchantment - the game's max.) Of course you know about their souls. thanateros
you can always buy the spell, but even at lvl 100 conjuration there's only a 78% chance to succeed in casting it, but well worth it if you ask me. There's a telvanni mage that sells it and winged twilights along with storm atronachs....I wouldn't wanna piss em off if those are the kinda spells they're selling
HornedReaperMJL
Like he said go buy the spell its in Tel Branora in the upper level from some dunmer guy. Then just enchant an amulet or anything else with summon golden saint weak characters will need about 34 seconds or MORE medium about 20 and strong less than 10 seconds. If your a mage and you can cast an absorb health spell with a magnitude of 100 do that it will cut the golden saint down within about 10-20 seconds depending on how often you fail the spell. Uh by the way what are you after anyway the items off golden saints or they're souls? Because if its just the souls the above trick will work well just gonna cost you a load of mula to enchant those items unless you do it yourself

DreamOfTheRood
I have a whole collection of soul-trapped Saints sitting in Dura gra-Bol's house. It's just the coolest thing. I don't even waste my Gem-Feeder scrolls on anything else, except the Ascended Sleepers.
HornedReaperMJL
I got like 20 grand souls gems with Golden Saints sitting near the creeper if i ever get enough items on him i can sell him one of them lol. Most of those golden saints WERE summoned the other half were found during my many ventures near Daedric Shrines. I prefer not to use the Grand Soul gems anymore since i have Azura's Star :D Oh yeh i forgot to say you CAN soul trap all summons but Golden Saints can be a pest since they cast dispell on themselves to get rid of the soul trap.
