thanateros
OOC: Thread necromancy like woa; where did everyone go, all of a sudden people stopped posting, I'll give it another day before I start to get annoyed because you all are about to reach the first climax of many, so don't let it die. wesaynothin
Not waiting for the other two, Avelyn runs off towards the courtyard of Suran. Afraid to go out the main gates, Avelyn jumps into the water and swims as fast as he can, next to the shore, as far away from Suran as he can before getting out of the water and resting. "Need to find a shrine...." Avelyn mumbles before falling asleep. OOC:the rela Avelyn knows this, but would this weak, puny Avelyn know where the Morag Tong Headquarters are? Sol'Kanar
Brock calls out to Alenee, "Nord, these foes are not human! I think our skills may serve better elsewhere in the city!"
Peregrine
<ooc: enough slacking for me!> In shock at the new arivals, Alenee doesn't respond for a few seconds. She looks around, then turns to Brock with a satisfied expression. "Well, guess here's not our place to die... but it seems our little efforts bought enough time for the citizens to clear out. I'm sad to miss this fight... but you're right." She points down the street with her now pike form weapon. "That sounds like trouble.... maybe we'll meet our gods after all!" She smiles briefly at the last part, then turns and runs off with a "follow me" wave of her pike.
Sol'Kanar
Frowning, wondering if the nord is suicidal, Brock turns to follow, drawing his mace once more, and gingerly places the now useless buckler on his back, hoping he'll meet a smith capable of repairing it. Thankful to be leaving the inhuman warriors, Brock keeps pace with Alenee as they draw closer to the noises of the slaughter.
thanateros
Addressing Brock and AleneeAs you approach what you thought to be the sounds of screaming people turns out to be nothing more than an utter massacre. Entrails are tossed about the street and blood painted all over the sides of buildings. The night lay perfectly still, save for the empty wind that tickles your ears. Brock, you immediately notice something that almost makes you wretch, but you manage to hold it back. Nailed to the door of the Hlaalu Manor with swords is a Dunmer with what looked to be high quality robes; they're torn to shreads. His belly has been slit wide open and his entrails left hanging. Where his eyes used to be two obsidian like stones have been inset in the sockets. Alenee, you too notice this sight, not in all of the battles of your experience have you seen anything so gruesome. Immediately upon seeing the Dumner nailed to the door you spew all over the street. Both of you find it nearly impossible to navigate without stepping in some sort of organ; your shoes are soaked in blood and you can start to feel it soak into the interior. With no sight of any guards about you feel almost as though you are walking in a nightmare. In the distance, where once was the sound of the melee now not even an insect alerts your attention.Addressing AvelynAs you start to slip off to sleep you hear the sound of footsteps coming from the direction of the town. The dark figure passes you by headed in the direction of the Daedric shrine you visited earlier. But just as he gets several yards past you he dissipates into dust, which is swiftly swallowed by the wind and taken by its will. Soon after, hobbling down the path comes a woman, tattered and clearly injured. "Help.....me....." she collapses at your feet.
wesaynothin
Avelyn jumps to his feet, and runs to the woman. "What happened to you? Were you in Suran too?" He asks her hurridley. he makes her comftorable, then grabs some travle bread out of his pack and hands it to her. He tries to bring her down to the lake, so she can drink some water. "Now what happened?" He asks again.
thanateros
Addressing Avelyn"All I remember was getting trampled and then waking up; I heard the sound of fighting not far from where I was. There was an Imperial Guard there too, his face badly cut up, I don't think he was alive." She breaks off a small piece of bread and slowly chews and then swallows. Several crumbs fall into her lap. She licks her finger and then picks the up and eats them. "Thank you," she smiles, though it's obvious she is still very weak. "There were others, who helped save me, I think they're in danger. They are still in the city. Though by the time I was out of the city everything was quiet save for the fighting near me. Did you happen to see a man dressed in black come by? I saw him leaving the city in this direction."
thanateros
Addressing Brock and AleneeSlowly the fighting from where you came from subsides and the night falls deadly quiet. Several moments pass by and seven dark figures emerge from behind you. They are the warriors who were opposing the 'Hlaalu Guards' that turned out to be Dremora. "I don't suppose it was him alone that did this?," one of them inquires. Another moves his head slowly from right to left while observing the scene, "what a mess he made, we'll find him and his troupe soon enough." A woman interjects, "look....it's them." She points at you. "I don't suppose you two would have anything to do with this now would you?"
wesaynothin
"Yes, he did." Aveln answers the womans question about the man. "here. I'm going back." He says. He hands the woman some of his travel food. "Stay hidden until you are strong enough to leave. Probably head to a farm. I heard about a nice man named Stadecran, try him." He advises the woman. He gets up, and runs up the road until he see's the black-robed man. Once he see's him, avelyn tries to sneak after him, a good distance away.
