My game for the most part is very stable, sometimes I get the hug-kill death bug with vilja (but I have a work around for that)

 

I have found its good not to run around with 10 custom followers who have heavy scripts...

 

for gameplay balance purposes I tend to keep a party max of 4, but largely I play most of the game with only one other follower. The novelty of running around with your dream team wears off when you don't need to engage in the combat anymore to beat the game!

 

For the most part the game is running fine, I do take risks by checking out new mods quite often and I might be risking the destruction of the game yet again by doing so. But for now, things are stable, its just this one glaring blemish that is driving me nuts.

Same problem also happens with custom followers like Vilja too, so far I believe it is only a female thing. Can't recall this happening to any males.

Have you run the FNIS tool? And does the problem occur with people you have not edited?

I don't really get the whole clean this and that mumbo jumbo, I remember using it once and things didnt go well, I tend to dip my toe if its something I don't quite understand, see what happens and if things turn out to be too cold.. I jus play it safe.

 

Its not just custom followers, but universally all female npcs, haven't noticed a difference with male npcs, they look as they should.
