Weapon shaders

I'm trying to figure out how to put a shader onto a weapon without applying any form of enchant to it, but to no avail. Examples of what I mean are the Frostmourne by Jojjo (it has an enchant, but it also has a blue flame shader) and the many vases on the Effect Shader Warehouse by ttemplar. Each of these mods have items that have a glow, but no script or enchant to give it to them. What I want to know is how to add these shaders to a pre-existing weapon, such as the AbGhostNPC shader to a Daedric Waraxe.

I believe they're applied through NifSkope, but I'm confounded as to how.
