Calling All Dungeon Makers

Did you manage to build the Sancre Tor room by hand?

Aaah, to less time and to much to do. So no. Also, it wouldn't really make sense to try & fit bethesda's tileset together when they did it for you, would it now ;P

I am uncluding some of my first (read, 3th and 4th at least, will probably do more) models in there, its only clutter though and I don't think anyone will notice them xD - but I wanna release models ;3

I love modelling

I am liking how my dungeon is going along... It might actually be quite possible I might finish it before the 10 day mark. I certainly hope so. I just can't afford to spend too much time on it with IRL bull blip. My only fear is when I playtest it... See.. I only just made the shell and am barely working on traps... and I'm in the second.. technically third... floor.

Edit: Oh... how fun... Okay, I got levels A, B, C, D, E, and F completed in structure. D, E and F are fully cluttered for nonspecific use dungeon generics. A, B and C need a bit of cluttering for decor. Levels B, C, and D have all the NPCs needed in them. Quest is not even started yet. Actually, I might eventually need a little help with it. I'm not to grand with quests as I haven't really ever dabbled too much with it. (Always been doing something else. Lol)

Level G... I need to determine what this is going to be.. I have to work it out with the storyline. I am unsure if I want it to be a phantom room, never meant to be seen but give the impression of what's behind it by what "comes from it".

Levels H, I, J, K, L, M and A need to be completed, and all are going to be duplicates of the previous levels of F and up. (This is for the "escape" part, where I want to change things, put things and take things away without heavily scripting a bunch of disables and enables... It's cleaner this way.)

Exterior part not even started. All in all... I'd say I'm about 60-70% done, but that last 30 is going to take some doing. I could, theoretically, finish the day after tomorrow. I don't know if that is within the time limit though. And, if I were to finish the day after tomorrow, it would mean I had help with the quest part, however simple it may be, learning how to do an entire way of modding in a time limited situation doesn't appeal to my chronic migraines. (lol)

Once completed I will submit this mod for the merge. Approximately one to two weeks later I will upload as an individual, standalone and slightly refined mod as a recycle and repurpose mod.

I think it'll be fun. I haven't playtested a THING yet, so it's all VERY roughly estimated on the timeline here.

Edit2: Found out what to do with room G. I will simply turn it into a secret entry back to Level C, which will actually be C two, rather than J or K or whatever. The Construction Set finally decided to crash on me, but thank god I save VERY often. Even after the most minor changes. Anyways, it's all going very swimmingly and I am getting a lot more done than I thought. Turns out all I needed was a White Russian on ice to help me forget how hot it gets in this room and how lethargic overheating makes me.

Edit3: All interiors completely designed. Still quite a bit of cluttering to do but the majority will be the quest and exterior.

Anyone that's good at simple quests yet has experience with medium difficulty to slightly, (very slightly) complex questing want to give me a tiny bit of help? It shouldn't take too long. The majority of what's needed is pretty much dialog and attacking and setting quest stages. Just dialog, exit dialog initiate combat, tiny bit of AI packaging with only one guy, making sure he stops where he is supposed to and starts dialog at that time. ETC. All simple stuff. Hell, most of the scripting I'll be doing myself. I can give you the dialog of what is needed. I will do the voiceacting myself as I have a voicechanger and I'm sure after messing around I'll find something suitable for what my intentions are. It is maybe half an hour of work to an hour that I need outa someone who is wanting my kudos + my love. After the quest is done I just have to touch it up and the entire dungeon is complete. I'll send a copy of the dungeon to the person who helped (the finished product) in case they wanna try it out before the release. (with the understanding it is not to be uploaded by them anywhere)

Target date for submission of completed and play-tested mods is July 14th.

Wow! You guys are awesome! You are really putting a lot of effort into your dungeons and making them really good.

My dungeon sort of pales by comparison. It looks like it was thrown together in three days. (Which it was.) It is a cave with three large cells using the vanilla cave tileset. It is a large conjurer cave loaded with conjurors and daedra. There is a bit of dialog and scripting, and I messed with the stats and inventories of the custom conjurors and daedra quite a bit. A player may need to be level 20 to beat the dungeon. I worked to make my dungeon entrance compatible with UL- Bravil Barrowfields so I wouldn't need to make a patch later. People don't need to worry much about compatibility right now. After the mod is merged, I can look at making a compatibility patches for popular mods if we need them. I still need to do more play-testing of my dungeon and probably some polishing. I have been really busy with other projects.

Ooooo 7 days? Why does it feel like it should be less? lol.

Well, after a bit of playtesting some of the scripts that I thought might need some adjusted do in fact need adjusting. Considering that I tend to be stupid when inebriated, especially after smoking, it looks like to me that I went a TINY bit overboard than I intended. I've got a few more levels to decorate now. :( But that's not all, to keep from loading problems, lag, and just too much bullpocky, I have to cut back on clutter in level B and C, mostly C, because there is just too much other stuff going on that some people with not-so-great computers might not be able to play. So... ya.. I have some trimming to do. But that's all irrelevant cause I'm going back to bed right now :D The sun is still up which means my neighbor who thinks he can play the drums is practicing and I need to have earplugs and unconsciousness to survive not killing him.

Considering that there is apparently a lot more time at hand than I thought that we had I decided to go and try to screw around a little bit with questing. I am happy to say that I think that I can finish and complete this mod more than likely before the time limit expires and do the questing all myself. It isn't overtly difficult, but it does take a lot of thought for me on how to arrange everything... As of late my migraine prone self has been having one hell of a lot more of em. I am supposed to eventually get some kind of medicine to combat it, but it does get tiresome to mod soooo long in a row with my head, lol. Anyways, I will try to continue to give updates. I got the quest sketched out on how I want it to be, all I need to do is add every single reference that will be used inside the quest itself and put them all together. The structure of the dungeon itself is not 100% complete as I had a few other ideas but it is around 95% done.... I'll just give a rough estimate of what everything is.

Structure Interior: 95%

Structure Exterior of Dungeon: 0

Structure of other quest related exteriors plus interiors: 100%

NPCs created: 100%

NPCs packaged and ready to go: 50%

Quest: 30%

Cluttering in dungeon level:

A: 0%

B: 90%

C: 70%

D: 100%

E: 100%

F: 100%

E Two: 100%

D Two: 100%

C Two: 90%

B Two: 99%

There is no A two. I didn't feel a reason for there to be, and you will see why once it's complete.

Overall maybe 80% done, but that last 20 is ganna take some time. It's possible I can finish it today (and by today I mean well into tomorrow, I just have a reversed schedule so my night time is your waking up time)

Well, I guess since this one isn't a contest, I'll design it to be more fun to play than anything else.

Status.. Finished? I can't really think of a storyline for it.. Anyone have a suggestion?

What I've got so far is a small flotilla of pirate ships that crashed into a cave system. The pirates fled into the caves for cover from pursuers. And that's my generic dungeon.

Okay... So it turns out I will need a tiny bit of help eventually with the finishing up of the quest... but it's much less than I thought
