Chode Master
When it asks for an NIF or DDS file, I can't find any except one for a gold coin, key ring, and bank of cyrodill sign. I loaded the Oblivion.esm file too. I looked in all the folders that are under Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/Data. Does anyone know whats wrong? Please Help!!!!!!!!!!! Switch
Annoyingly enough, the Oblivion data files are packaged up in BSA files by default. Quite why they did this without at least providing a utility to extract them I can't imagine. However, Timeslip managed to come up with this nifty little program for Microsoft NET Framework 1.1. You can select BSA files with it and extract them. Doing this will put all the NIF and DDS files in the correct folders for access and editing. You can also use Oblivion Mod Manager for this if you have NET Framework 2.0.
