Retirement Plans

My breton tank intends to 'retire' in a blaze of glory, shoulder deep in dying marauders, at the age of around 90 to 100. Failing that he'd like to go out around the age of 100 to 110 jumping out of a high window when the husband returns unexpectedly ruining his evening with the nice wifey!!! (this of course assumes there is a cute married girl somewhere in Cyrodil! Anyone found one?)

To spice up retirement, I think I'll have my character play a little game of Russian Roulette: concoct five little potions with the same name. Four of them will be harmless little things brewed from venison. The fifth will be brewed from a Poisoned Apple. They'll all look alike when laying on a table, just begging to be picked up and drunk.

Which one will be the last one? No one knows.

Well, I plan on proving my arse-kicking to everyone. Don't like me? *Slash with my blade and finish with a 110 damage destruction spell*

And also I am going to rob every rich house around. ^_^

I do not think my character will ever stop kicking arse... he will find new quests (mods?) to accomplish, or if need be he will go saving poor folk by killing the bandits - and there is a lot of them in Cyrodiil!

He may also come up with a hack to somehow travel to Morrowind, quest there and align himself with Nerevarine (my lvl 45 Melee tank) and then go to other places and kick arse there! haha

* A curious thought just occured to me... has anyone ever thought of a... hmm... all-world mods? o_O

Have every single part of Tamriel? So you could go to Morrowind... mmm... that would be amazing!

You can make potions of a single ingredient when your alchemy skill is 100 yes. But it doesn't work with poisoned apples, since the effect they have is special. Nice idea though :P

You could also get your health very low and make a potion which has a damage health effect, but a positive effect as well. This way it won't count as a poison and you can drink it!

The best way to retire is to get the mod 'brew house', which gives you a farm near Anvil. You must buy tools, sheep (which you can sheer and sell their wool), fish and most important the planting of seeds. You can then harvest ingredients . Then you must download the mod which allows you to brew wines, beer... and it's really great how do you make wine juice, beacuse you have to put grapes in the barrel and then you have to jump in it to make juice. You turn 1 grape to 1 juice with 1 jump it great. The wine gets better the more time you leave the juice to get old. Try it you won't be disapointed.

My current character doesn't have any retirement plans. The whole "Child of Sithis" thing she's got going is more or less an eternal commitment— and yes, I realize she's a mortal character. Since when does mere death stop anyone in the game?

Any mods out there that will turn your character into a ghost upon death?

I remember something like that for Morrowind, but I haven't seen any for Oblivion. Or wait, maybe that WAS the CharGen dungeon that the screenshot was taken in... Iohoh ;D .
