Retribution
I just bought the GOTY one disc edition of Morrowind. It's version 1.2.0722 without any patches. When I try to install the Bloodmoon or Tribunal patch, it says Old File does not exist, then it says a file of the same name was found, but no updates were done because the contents don't match. I can't find anything about either expansion in the game folder, so I'm wondering if they're even installed. I also want to know how to install Morrowind to a different directory, my installer doesn't give me any option to.

JimboUK
Try running the set up on the disk as admin, that sometimes solves install problems. Also install away from the "program files".
AzirAphale001
Install them into the Program Files folder in the right order (Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon). Install patches. If you want to install MGE, MCP etc then do it now. Then drag all the files into a separate folder (I use C:\Games).

JimboUK
If you can't install somewhere else try disabling User Account Control just while you install.
