Also, here's some information links on alagaesia and carvahall:

An interactive (but severely lacking) map, with information on cities (but only some cities/towns):

Some info on carvahall:

Really small map layout of carvahall:

The best map of alagaesia I could find:

Also, remember not to go by anything in the movie at all. Many things in the movie were the complete opposite as in the book. Except for one thing: Saphira's head was pretty awesome in the movie. Her wings, though, looked more like bird wings. :P

I just thought of something: How about instead of doing a whole open-world thing like Oblivion of Fallout 3 or Morrowind, we should simply make each individual exterior. Then we can make each exterior much larger and more detailed than we would be able to if it was open world. Think Dragon Age: Origins. It wasn't quite open world, but each area you could travel to was huge, and extremely well made. In Oblivion, you can walk from one side of the world to the other in about half an hour.

So, good idea? Or not so good?

I think it would make it that much more immersive. Plus it would cut out all the boring travel time. We could still have multiple camp exterior cells that you show up in as you're traveling along, and have encounters related to the quest come up randomly (such as being attacked by urgals, being taught new ancient words, and being taught to sword fight).

Hmm... I could try to come up with a script for the random encounter function...

I will ponder overnight. What exactly do you mean by each individual exterior cell

Thanks for all the links Norvinaux. I could use the Inheriwiki site to get up to date on my cannon references to make this as accurate as possible.

Hey, here's some useful resources I found:

Armor for Dragons:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32021

Akatosh mount by saiden storm (simply edit bits of it to make the dragons):

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10819

So far that's about it for dragon-related stuff.

I want everyone to look at those armours and decide which one they think fits best (bearing in mind that Saphira will be blue and thorn will be put into the steel armour by default I think). Just look at the images instead of downloading it if you want.

You know, I think we should scrap vanilla oblivion animations. We could use modified DMC Stylish combat/idle animations, the Deadly Reflex mod for cutting off heads and the like, and for emotion/facial animations we could use Personality Idles mod, and/or many others.

Also, did you make the urgal's horns large enough to make a bow with? In the second book, Orik pulls out an urgal horn bow.

Also also, I think Thorn should have a darker retexture of the steel dragon armor, and Saphira should have a shiny retexture of the iron dragon armor. Plus, we'll have to retexture and possibly remodel the akatosh mount into both thorn (more muscular, but smaller) and saphira (much larger, but slender).

No. For the moment I am using the Argonian Horns. I am trying to get or make some more that are more suitable. I did try to get the Minotaur Horns but so far no luck. Gonna try again now though.

Yes, I suppose we could. I don't really like doing large modifications that I might not be able to undo but I'll give it a go tonight.

What's the bet that the Minotaur horns on the Kull will look stupid (simply because they won't contour to the head properly)
