Deleted1848331User
I was floating on a pool noodle in my pool when I thought of something; why not remake arizona? When I came in I thought about making the other states, one at a time. And fo rlike the landmarks, make the Grand Canyon, and other cool stuff. Basically, making Oblivion like Fallout 3, as in by making it in a real place. And maybe disable the magic system in one version for people who like immersion ( :whistling: ), and another for the people who still want the magic system. And then remake all NPCs, giving them real names, like Bob. I mean, maybe no thtat simple, like a little longer one, but you get the point. And also disable Argonians and all other things like that. And make human "races" like caucasian, asian, etc... I would need a mod team for this, however, for I cannot do this alone. Currently need:ModellerTexturerVoice Actors (for the new quests and such)WritersCS personAdvanced Scripter. And if you have anything else that I havent listed, ask and maybe you'll be able to do whatever it is. I think I'll make a website for you all to sign up at too. Currently I have a few parts of the landscape done. Edited July 6, 2010 by Guest
ub3rman123
Unless you plan on setting it in the 1500's, you might want to consider putting it into Fallout 3 instead.
Deleted1848331User
1500s it is. I would set it in fallout 3, but my comp is like 7 years old. Im going to get a new one soon, but I need to get some more money. (its 1100$, found here) so I have to have it in oblivion for now. And besides, IT SHOULD be really easy to make a house, then again, I have no clue how to model, soooo maybe not.
Deleted1848331User
actually, instead of 1500s, 2001. the reason for that is because it has Walmarts xD when i get my new comp, I could prob make a post apoptolypitic AZ, but after this is done lol. Pronam
Geck and CS can both run if you can run of them (2gb or ram is advisable though.) and it's not advisable to 'switch' as you can't just copy and paste it into fallout (not to mention it's illegal). Destroyed or not, Fallout is way easier to do as you could modify the current things, the supermarket model for instance, instead of having to build them from scratch. And all other races are already present so it's pointless to create new ones for oblivion towards them. Not to mention the fact you'll get a lot more people working on recreating the united states into a world that already takes place there than to ask people to go from a fantasy world to it. There is not an on/off switch for Magic...The system would still run and check countless of things/ hardcoded settings to make sure it's working...it'll be swimming up stream for nothing. David Brasher
The United States is pretty big. Cyrodiil is tiny. It is like 20 km across. Cyrodiil is smaller than Rhode Island. It would be pretty hard to fit everything that exists in America into a space that small.
Deleted1848331User
yeah, last night when i was going to bed at like 3 am (i was playing fallout 3 xD) I thought it would be better (and easier) to just make it for fallout 3. And also, I meant one state at a time, and you take a portal. I wasnt going to put it into Cyrodiil. But yeah, when I get my new comp im gonna switch this to Fallout 3. For now, it wont be worked on. As in, Its dropped for now.
