Yes I know, I have the game running on my SR-2 with 2 Xeon 6 core cpu's and 24 gigs of ram using 16 cores, I would use more but choking off background programs in my opinion is foolish when you have 24 cores available as in my case (counting hyperthreading). I try not to suggest solutions that are in most cases out of a persons scope of understanding, you know, the KISS principal. But it is gratifying to see someone taking so much interest in computing. camaro_69_327 Posted October 17, 2014 Share Posted October 17, 2014 as i was also using the KISS principle, and just said 8 threads..it IS called ..."Hyper-Threading Technology" and the reason i didn't Say ...8 CPU's like some programs refer to it. If you open CPU-z it shows...4 cores/8 threads. But if you open task manager you can have it show one cpu or 8 cpu's....lol :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
