Malinthebeast
I’m thinking of reinstalling Fallout 3 and mod the hell out of it, but in past experiences recent patches have destroyed modding making the game crash if you install any kind of mod. Have any of the recent patches fixed this or is there a community fix for such errors?
Quetzlsacatanango
1.5 broke certain types of mods. The issue was never really fixed if you ask me, but running fo3edit master update will get you around it.

Quetzlsacatanango
Pretty much, yep!Everything that master update addresses, anyway.
Clexor
I personally do not advise using the FO3Edit program, it alone prevents the use of some of the bigger mods. Most of the good ones on here are perfectly fine with the 1.7 patch, most of which clearly state the are not compatible with FO3Edit.

I could always install those mods last and before I run the master update on mods installed before them.

This is pure gibberish, and should be disregarded by all.Maybe you are thinking of FOSE, maybe not.Even FOSE does not prevent the use of anything.
