BaronofHe11
I personally do not advise using the FO3Edit program, it alone prevents the use of some of the bigger mods. Most of the good ones on here are perfectly fine with the 1.7 patch, most of which clearly state the are not compatible with FO3Edit. This is pure gibberish, and should be disregarded by all.Maybe you are thinking of FOSE, maybe not.Even FOSE does not prevent the use of anything. Got to agree. FO3Edit made things more stable for me and pointed out some problems like two mods trying to add stuff to the same box causing one item not to show up. I'm fairly new to the tool and only started using it a few days ago but it is great so far. I used the manual posted on this site which gives a lot of detail on what to do. Everything is reversible so there is no danger if you screw something up unless you directly edit a mod instead of making a patch. However you could easily fix that also but you would need to keep track of your edits.

And no I'm not thinking of FOSE. I can tell you straight up that NosRhyfelwr's RR Companion system is screwed over by the master update, as is most modular mod systems. FYI: That info comes straight from the Bugs section of the RR Companion Vault description. Just because this is my third post doesn't mean you can act like I'm an idiot, credit for trying though I guess.
Quetzlsacatanango
Well, there is a bit of a difference between master update specifically and fo3edit in general. An incompatible mod here or there is a lot different than saying it alone prevents the use of some of the bigger mods. Most of the good ones on here are perfectly fine with the 1.7 patch, most of which clearly state the are not compatible with FO3Edit. which is just not true. FWE, big mod. FOOK, big mod. Both seem to work just fine with master update. Anything that adds persistent refs to the wasteland still caues crash on save without master update, even with 1.7. So sorry, it's gibberish, and if you look like an idiot it's due to your own post, not mine. It is hard enough for people to get their modded games stable without people putting misinformation out there.Sorry to the OP if you feel this derailed your topic but I think it is important in relation to your question.-Q

Grimmjow0006
Well I'm wondering is there anything like Wyre Bashed for Fallout? It would help a lot in finding out all the problems I'm having. I just randomly had 3 CTD while playing with FWE, RTS, WMK, EVE, MMM, Fellout, PB.
