Haruo
...if I have missed something here, but upon downloading a certain pack of character models and one of the files required to go with it it suddenly dawned on me I had no idea what direcotry to put the files in. There were no helpful readmes with the files I downloaded and I can't seem to see anything on the site to guide me on this matter. Unsre if this will help in any way, but the files I downloaded have .eps and .7z extensions. Thanks. Well, scratch that, looks like I fgiured it out, possibly! Way to go on your first post, lackwit! SoulBlazer_87
After you unzip (or extract to be exact) the files there should be some .esp files inside. Place them in your Oblivion Data folder (commonly C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data). In many cases there are other folders inside such as meshes, textures etc. Take the contents of these folders and add the to the same folder in the data file. Do not overwrite unless every single content is the same. These mods might be the most rewarding but might also ruin your game if you start overwriting any file you see. I think in WinRar there is a choice to update and not overwrite the folders. If using this program it should be checked and you will have no problem. After this you can click on data files and check the mods you weant to activate. Keep in mind that some mods do not have .esp files and thus do not have to be checked in the data files menu of the launcher. Hope I helped.
