DogWood
Hello, I am having errors with seams it just happened and I don't know what is causing it. I use the HGEC 1.21, the BBB hcup skeleton and meshes, and the HiRes textures(4096x4096) this is a Diablo elf, Im not sure how clear it is but basically I get noticable seams down the arms, neck, wrists, feet and middle of the back. There is also a pigment differance flesh colored and a purply tintat the seams. it never did this befor so something must have gliched, I think. I tried deactivating all my body mods including race addons, and then activating them again(All are OMOD) in order, used BOSS for orbering and even rebashed all with wyre bash. still nothing. I don't think it is a race addon issue as it does it with all races, and I don't think it is a wyre bash issue as everything was good before and I activated the graphics and deactivated them with no change. I though it might be the HGEC 1.21 mod so I put the 2 original OMODs back in that I was using all the time before(exnem eyecandy, and HGEC body) still nothing Sooo, I am stumped, please help. ziitch
Go and get Luchaire's HGEC Body Seam Reducer; it's an .egt file that will reduce those seams, but won't eliminate them. If that isn't enough, you'll have to just make some changes on the texture yourself until you are satisfied.
yeldarb
Try using 7-zip to overwrite the skin textures OBMM installed into your data folder. Luchaire -a modder, has a mod to fix skin seams, but you may need another mod to repair discoloration on High Elf necks.
DogWood
I used seam reducer before but removed it because I did not notice much difference. and I was not using it before this problem. I don't quit understand what you mean to use 7zip to over write my OBMM texture .
yeldarb
I used seam reducer before but removed it because I did not notice much difference. and I was not using it before this problem. I don't quit understand what you mean to use 7zip to over write my OBMM texture .OBMM uses the textures in the OMOD, but these may be overwritten or modified by activating another OMOD. Installing the original textures that came with the download will sometimes repair the overwritten texture.Archive invalidation usually ensures the last texture installed is the first used. Installing the high resolution skin textures from the original mod can fix the seams.
